CONTENTS

The Journal is intended to provide a forum for the debate of university reform; of related social, economic and educational policy; and of the cultural and intellectual context within which these reforms operate.

Authors interested in submitting articles to the Journal for consideration should refer to the Call for Papers and the Instructions to Authors. Articles are peer reviewed.

The first issue of the Journal is a compilation of papers presented at the second APU conference held in December 2001. At regular intervals the Journal's editors will send out formal calls for papers on designated themes, but papers that fall within the Journal's general aims may be submitted at any time.
